Special Education Records over 6 Years Old to be Destroyed:
Special Education records are kept for six years. In accordance with Procedural Requirement 16.13 DESTRUCTION OF INFORMATION 16.13.1 The public agency must inform parents when personally identifiable information collected, maintained, or used under this part is no longer needed to provide educational services to the child. This notice is to inform any parents or former students that any special education files from the 2010-2011 school year will be set to be destroyed after January 15, 2017. If you would like a to pick up these records, please come by the school to request them. There is no fee for the records.
